Who are we?
We are a team of young women who aim to share the stories of afab and fem talents, whether it's in arts or sports. We believe that unique and meaningful experiences should be a shared resource and a way to inspire others. Our main goal is to spread self-love, nourish self-awareness and emphasize how special and unique we all are.

I grew up in Padua, on the Northeast side of Italy, moved to Miami after I finished high school then to Amsterdam for my Bachelor's degree. I'm currently living in the dutch capital, working as a full-time sound engineer and freelance music editor/director for Numéro Netherlands magazine. Besides the working part, I'm focusing on creating music and singing, which is my biggest passion. I am a lover of life and all of its facets, constantly curious and keen to push my boundaries. I founded The Artemisia Collective with the purpose of empowering females/womxn that are into arts or sports in sharing their stories and speak about topics regarding creativity and mental health. United we are a force beyond any expectation.

I grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia, but started to travel from an early age. My first study abroad experience happened in the UK when I was 14, and later on, I went to Finland to pursue my undergrad. I come from an artistic family, and being surrounded by art and music has deeply influenced my passions and career choice. Traveling around the world and living in several countries in the past years has broadened my perspective and also pinpointed the burning issues our societies are struggling with. Being a part of the Artemisia Collective is important to me as it combines two of my favorite worlds: the world of art and the world of global empowerment. I can inspire fellow creatives, get inspired from them as well, and support and empower communities.

The light of Barcelona saw me grow and inspired me to paint everywhere I go. Social change has always been the water that my art drinks from, and I hope my paintings to be food for thought for those who dare to feel and connect with the world around them. Getting involved in creating positive change and understanding what justice means took me to The Hague in the Netherlands for my Bachelor's in International Justice and now I embarked on this journey of learning how to tackle issues that see no borders with the Masters's degree. Fighting for equality and empowering women is what moved me to join the Artemisia Collective. The time to show our light and shake off the doubts has arrived!

I come from a multicultural family, but have grown mainly in France. I was always taken by the wish to discover cultures and people, which pushed me to pursue my undergraduate education abroad at the age of 17. My fascination for people’s stories and poetry, as well as musical expression, brought me to write my own to rhythm and rhymes. In the light of the human experience, I quickly realised what a privilege I had and got inclined towards social justice. This collective is merely one of the many ways in which we can empower certain minorities, however it is one where I have found myself connecting to strangers on a deeper level.

I grew up in Rome, spending the summers in my family’s hometown in the south of Italy. After high school, I moved to the Netherlands and later, to Switzerland. Growing up witnessing my mother’s work on children’s rights, I developed a strong sense of justice and fairness, which fueled my career in international law. With a passion for painting with words, when I’m not writing about human rights issues, I like to write short stories, read philosophy or go for a skate. Inspired by female resilience and creativity, I joined the Artemisia Collective to help empower women to raise their voices and share their stories, wisdom and experiences.
